Yoli's Biography

It has been a privilege to attend seminary, serve as a pediatric clinical chaplain, and pursue my doctoral studies in chaplaincy. Throughout this process, I have matured and prepared myself for the future, yet I believe my spiritual journey will always be ongoing because I will never stop growing and learning. During my seminary years, I completed several personality inventories, such as the Enneagram and Keirsey Temperament Sorter. I was surprised to discover how accurately they described my personality and characteristics. The Keirsey Sorter showed that I am a Guardian—a sincere, reliable, helpful, and hardworking woman. I am a loyal companion, a responsible mother, and a leader. According to this test, I tend to be devoted, cautious, and humble.

The Enneagram test showed that I am a Type 2—The Helper. Many people of this type feel worthy to the extent that they are useful to others, and love is their highest ideal. Listening to others is a virtue I cherish. I believe these personality traits have shaped my spiritual gifts: teaching, listening, offering words of wisdom, and praying for others. This is where I feel most gifted and prepared. My heart’s desire is to support and teach others during their times of crisis and in their search for meaning and truth. I am committed to obeying God’s calling for my life: As God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.
